With the Joker Sandmann Only Watch 2024 watch, Konstantin Chaykin writes a new chapter in his saga of unique pieces created for Only Watch's charity auctions. The master is certain that the art of watchmaking has many facets. It is one of the expressions of the creative spirit of mankind, bringing complications and designs to the level of art and preserving centuries-old traditions. At the same time, it can contribute to medical research – an extremely important aspect of which the Only Watch initiative is one of the symbols.
For the 10th Edition of Only Watch, Konstantin Chaykin focused on the idea of developing an open-worked dial that displays the hours, minutes and day of the week. The unique character of the Joker Sandmann is created by the combination of several elements: an avant-garde case made of genuine “Bulat” stainless steel, an anthropomorphic open-worked dial, a classic design of the movement with traditional gold-plated and frosted bridges and finely finished steel levers, flat springs and snail eccentric.

Konstantin Chaykin
Konstantin Chaykin is an independent watchmaker and a member of the AHCI. He founded his own manufacture in 2003, when he began building the Foundation Tourbillon Clock, the first tourbillon clock ever made in Russia. He is one of the most prolific inventors in watchmaking and holds numerous patents. The World Intellectual Property Organization awarded him the WIPO Gold Medal for his inventions. In a series of four Orthodox Computus clocks he designed, the Moscow Computus clock is the most complicated, with 27 complications and a movement of 2504 parts - it's one of the most complicated clocks in the world.
The Wristmons collection was launched in 2017 with the creation of the Joker watch, with a face-like dial, that quickly became popular with collectors. The master has created the most complicated and unusual Wristmons for the Only Watch charity auctions in 2017, 2019 and 2021, always attracting strong interest.
